Vicente Brambila Dies in Lake Mathews Off-Road Accident
LAKE MATHEWS, CA (January 19, 2021) — A 22-year-old man died Sunday evening in an off-road accident on Tin Mine Road near La Sierra Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the off-road accident happened around 6:00 p.m.
For unknown reasons, two friends on board a Honda Razor all-terrain vehicle – resembling that of a dune buggy – crashed into a boulder.
As a result, Vicente Brambila of Los Angeles suffered grave injuries. However, his friend suffered minor wounds and tried contacting 911 after climbing out of the crashed ATV.
Since communication between First Responders and the victims was unsuccessful, a Riverside County Sheriff’s helicopter arrived.
Unfortunately, Brambila succumbed to his injuries and died. Paramedics brought his friend to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
Detectives plan to examine this case for more information, but if anyone has more information, please call the authorities.
We would like to express our caring thoughts to the bereaved friends and family of Vicente Brambila.
