Driver Wanted after Hit-and-Run Crash on Detroit Avenue in Concord

 
CONCORD, CA (November 17, 2021) – A vehicle overturned in a hit-and-run crash on Detroit Avenue on November 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly after 10:30 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a Mercedes driver exited an apartment complex on Detroit. Subsequently, it collided with a Ford sedan. Then, the Ford hit a curb and rolled over before landing on its roof. Police said the Mercedes continued onto a nearby street before the driver fled the scene.
 
As a result, the Ford driver suffered a minor injury. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, Concord police are seeking the driver of the Mercedes-Benz. Also, officials ask anyone with information to call Traffic Officer Nanthasiri at 925-671-5096.
