Valerie Mejia Dead in Car Crash on Highway 71 near Grand Avenue

 
CHINO, CA (January 17, 2022) — A woman identified as 27-year-old Valerie Mejia of Los Angeles died in a car accident on Monday, January 10.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, they rushed to the incident on State Highway 71 north of Grand Avenue at around 12:05 a.m.
 
Authorities said that medics pronounced Valerie dead at the scene of the crash at about 12:25 a.m.
 
The Montanez Family created a GoFundMe page to help with Valerie’s funeral expenses. The page described her as a “one-of-a-kind person that left an impression on every person she met.”
 
The events surrounding the incident were not yet available. Officials continue to investigate the crash.
