FRESNO, CA (December 31, 2021) – Police arrested Valentin Uribe following a DUI accident on Shaw Avenue on December 23.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at El Capitan Avenue around 8:47 PM.
 
Based on a report, a police officer was diverting traffic while workers were filling a pothole in the area. Due to unknown reasons, Uribe’s car rear-ended the officer’s vehicle while he was in it.
 
As a result, the officer suffered mild injuries in the incident.
 
Police suspected Uribe of driving while under the influence. According to them, Uribe has a prior DUI charge from May and was also driving with a suspended license.
