Fatal Semi-Truck Accident on 15 Freeway in San Bernardino, Police Identify Uli Chavez

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 18, 2021) – A driver died in a semi-truck accident on 15 Freeway south of Wild Wash Road early Tuesday morning, October 12.
 
Officials identified the victim as 28-year-old Hesperia resident Uli Mason Chavez.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, around 2:50 a.m. the semi-truck ran over a four-door sedan along the southbound lanes of the freeway. After that, a third vehicle was involved in an unknown way.
 
First responders confirmed that Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:15 a.m. A GoFundMe account was set up for the surviving family of Uli Chavez.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
