Car Crashes on Highway 101 near Ukiah Leaves 2 People with Major Injuries

 
UKIAH, CA (May 8, 2022) – Two people were injured in a traffic accident on Highway 101 near Ukiah on Monday, May 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on the highway when it crashed for unknown reasons. When officers arrived, they located the Toyota with major front and rear-end damage. They also found two people trapped inside the car.
 
Officers said two of the patients suffered major injuries. An air ambulance transported one of them to Ukiah Valley Adventist Health Hospital.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
