HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 18, 2022) – Two people suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident on 101 Freeway in Hollywood on Saturday morning, July 16.
 
The accident happened around 10:10 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the two adult victims were in a sedan traveling northbound on the freeway.
 
For unknown reasons, the car struck two light poles and overturned.
 
Firefighters freed the victims from the wreckage. Paramedics then rushed them to a trauma center with major injuries.
 
At this time, it is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
