Single Car Involved in Accident on Highway 101 in Healdsburg
HEALDSBURG, CA (February 3, 2021) – Two people suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Highway 101 on January 25.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Dry Creek Road at approximately 12:15 AM.
Based on a report, a Ford Focus had veered off the road onto the right shoulder due to unknown reasons. Subsequently, it went down a dirt embankment. Finally, it crashed into a tree.
As a result, the 19-year-old Santa Rosa woman who was driving the vehicle suffered major injuries in the incident. In addition, her right-front passenger, a 20-year-old Mendocino man, had life-threatening injuries. Crews transported both victims to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
