Two People Hurt in Car Accident on Highway 74 [Lake Elsinore, CA]

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 12, 2021) — Two people suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Highway 74 on Sunday, April 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received reports of the solo-car crash around 6:27 a.m. in the 44000 block of Highway 74.
 
CHP reported that for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway. Then it tore through a fence and crashed head-on with a tree.
 
Officers extricated two people from the wreckage. Then they rushed them to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
The investigation of the cause of the incident is still underway.
