Two Men Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Village Drive and Llanada Avenue
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 8, 2021) — Two men died in a pedestrian accident on Village Drive in Victorville on Monday, January 11.
According to reports, a motorcyclist struck a pedestrian on Village Drive and Llanada Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
Deputies discovered two men down on the roadway. They pronounced both dead at the scene. However, officials only identified the men as the 42-year-old motorcyclist and 29-year-old pedestrian.
Medics airlifted a third pedestrian with critical injuries to a local hospital.
Authorities closed Village Drive between Amargosa Road and Vasquez Avenue until around 4:00 a.m.
Officials said the reason behind the crash is not yet determined. However, the events that led to accident is not yet available.
There were no reports if intoxication or speed played a role in the crash. However, police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
