Two Killed in Rollover Accident at El Camino Real and Broadway [Burlingame, CA]

Car Overturns and Crashes into Tree on El Camino Real in Burlingame Killing Two People

 
BURLINGAME, CA (October 19, 2021) – Two people died in a rollover accident at El Camino Real and Broadway early Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 12:04 a.m. on October 18. According to the Burlingame Police Department, a 1998 Mercury carrying three people was traveling in the area when it overturned and crashed into a tree.
 
When officers arrived, they located two people partially thrown from the car. One died at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the other two occupants to San Francisco General Hospital, where one of them also died. The third person is in critical condition.
 
The identities of the two deceased were not immediately released.
 
Police said wet conditions and speed contributed to the crash, and it does not appear that anyone was wearing seat belts. Further investigation is underway.
