Deadly Accident at North Hollywood Liquor Store on West Oxnard Street
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 14, 2021) – Two people died and three others were injured in an accident on West Oxnard Street in North Hollywood Saturday night, March 13.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a gray Saturn sedan was traveling southbound on Vineland Avenue when it lost control. It then crashed into two other parked vehicles in the area of 11000 West Oxnard Street near a liquor store around 6:54 p.m.
One person in the store died at the scene. A passenger in a sedan died at the hospital.
Paramedics took three other people in the sedan to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Two people in a parked SUV were also hurt but declined transportation.
Meanwhile, the building near the crash did not suffer any structural damage and was deemed safe.
It is unknown if speed or intoxication played a role in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
