TARZANA, CA (March 8, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries in a two-car accident involving a pedestrian on Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana on Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the area of 19500 West Ventura Boulevard near Shirley Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the vehicles to struck the pedestrian.
 
Bystanders pulled the pedestrian from underneath one of the vehicles. LAFD paramedics arrived soon after and took the patient to a hospital in serious condition.
 
Meanwhile, one of the drivers had minor injuries.
