Trailer Fire on West La Tuna Canyon Road Leaves Man and Woman with Burn Injuries
SHADOW HILLS, CA (November 15, 2021) – Two people suffered burn injuries in a trailer fire on West La Tuna Canyon Road in the Shadow Hills area of Los Angeles Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened just after 4:00 p.m. on November 13, at 8604 West La Tuna Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire burned the trailer and spread to a two-car detached garage.
About 50 firefighters extinguished the fire after 21 minutes, but a man and a woman, whose ages and identities were not released, were evaluated for burn injuries, the LAFD said.
In addition, an unknown number of exotic animals were at the scene, but they unharmed.
Crews closed La Tuna Canyon Road in both directions through the area due to large-diameter hose lines in the roadway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the LAFD Arson and Counter-Terrorism Section.
