Early Morning Rollover Accident on Spruce Street in Riverside Injures Two People

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (December 21, 2021) – Two people were injured in a rollover accident on Spruce Street in Riverside, early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 2:40 a.m. on December 19 near Kansas Avenue. According to the Riverside Fire Department, a vehicle carrying two people was traveling west on Spruce Street when it went over an embankment.
 
Responding firefighters used the Jaws of Life and stabilization equipment to extricate the two occupants from the wreckage.
 
Paramedics then took both patients to a trauma center, one had moderate injuries and the other had minor injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
