Sedan Involved in Rollover Accident on East Montecito Street in Santa Barbara

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (April 11, 2022) – Police confirmed that two people suffered injuries in a rollover accident in the 1000 block of East Montecito Street on April 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near North Alisos Street around 6:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, a sedan was traveling westbound on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it reportedly struck a parked vehicle, causing it to flip over.
 
As a result, two people inside the sedan sustained injuries in the incident. Crews with the Santa Barbara City Fire Department assisted the man and the woman in getting out of the overturned vehicle. An AMR ambulance took the victims to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Their names and details on their conditions were not available.
 
As of now, the collision is still under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department. Also, no other details are available.
