Two Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on State Street in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CA (February 14, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on State Street on February 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Arrellaga Street at about 11:15 AM.
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. However, officials did not state the details that led to the accident.
As a result, crews needed to extricate a passenger from one of the vehicles. Crews from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department sent two people to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The victims had moderate injuries.
This head-on crash on State Street is still under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department. At this time, no other details are available.
