Head-On Crash Reported on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CA (February 11, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 154 on February 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at West Camino Cielo around 5:20 PM.
Based on a report, a gray Subaru and a silver Hyundai collided into each other head-on. Subsequently, the crash sent debris into the roadway and blocked both lanes of the highway. Also, both vehicles sustained major front-end damage.
As a result, officials from the Santa Barbara County Fire said one person suffered major injuries in the crash. In addition, another one suffered minor injuries. Crews transported both victims to the hospital for treatment.
Consequently, the commotion stopped the eastbound traffic while tow trucks and ambulances came to respond to the scene.
