SONORA, CA (July 6, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries in a head-on accident on Tuolumne Road in Sonora Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on July 5, near the Mono Way intersection. CHP officials said a pickup truck and a sedan collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
First responders found two patients with unspecified injuries. They transported them to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
At this time, it is unclear if speed or intoxication played a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
