DUI Driver Arrested after Accident on Mulberry Avenue at Foothill Boulevard in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (March 6, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries in a DUI accident on Mulberry Avenue on February 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Foothill Boulevard around 12:23 AM.
 
Based on a report, a two-door Honda was eastbound on Foothill at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a Dodge pickup truck rear-ended it. Subsequently, the Dodge landed on top of the Honda.
 
As a result, two occupants of the Honda were pinned in the car. The San Bernardino County Fire/Medics had to extricate both victims before transporting them to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
 
In the end, the Fontana Police Department arrested the driver of the truck on a DUI charge.
 
At this point, an investigation is still ongoing.
