Two Hospitalized after Car Accident on Sierra Highway near Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (June 3, 2021) — Two people suffered injuries in a car accident on Sierra Highway just after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 31.
 
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Ed Pickett, the incident occurred on the 23200 block of Sierra Highway. It was in front of the Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary.
 
Pickett said that at about 1:50 p.m., they asked for a second ambulance. He added they have not yet determined the extent of the patients’ injuries.
 
Fire officials said that an ambulance transported one of the patients and another was brought by a private vehicle to the hospital.
 
Firefighters were then called again to the scene at about 2:30 p.m., as one of the vehicles involved in the incidents had caught fire.
 
Officials closed the traffic headed south on Sierra Highway as first responders cleared the scene.
