SAN RAFAEL, CA (January 14, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries in a car accident on North San Pedro Road on January 11.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near China Camp State Park around 5:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle was traveling on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it went off the road and rolled down a cliff. After that, the driver fled, leaving two people in the vehicle.
 
As a result, one of the passengers had minor injuries in the incident. In addition, a passerby who stopped to help the passengers fell down the cliff and suffered major injuries.
 
At this point, the CHP is investigating the crash and looking for the driver. Also, no further details are currently available.
