CHULA VISTA, CA (September 7, 2021) – Two people were hurt in a DUI accident on Broadway on September 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at G Street around 8:20 PM.
 
Based on reports, two cars collided in the lanes. Subsequently, one of the cars kept going and struck The Manhattan, a bar and cocktail lounge on the southwest corner of the intersection.
 
As a result, two patrons at the bar sustained injuries in the incident. Paramedics said the victims’ injuries were minor.
 
Afterward, witnesses told police that the driver got out of her car after crashing into the bar and began arguing with bystanders. In the end, officials arrested the female driver of the car on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
