WILLITS, CA (February 20, 2022) – Police confirmed that two people were hurt in a fiery accident on Highway 101 on February 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Black Bart Drive around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. Subsequently, one of the vehicles caught on fire in the incident. Debris and the vehicles impeded traffic in two directions. Then, a semi-truck came and struck one of the cars.
 
As a result, one person suffered major injuries in the crash. In addition, a second victim sustained unspecified wounds.
 
Also, the crash closed the southbound lanes of the highway.
