DUI Causes Rollover Crash on Highway 42 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (February 3, 2021) – Crews sent two people to the hospital following a rollover crash in Highway 41 on the early morning of January 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Mckinley Avenu off-ramp shortly before 1:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a car drove off the road and rolled over several times in the lanes. Subsequently, the impact ejected two men out of the car and into a field.
 
As a result, the victims, both 26-year-olds, sustained major injuries. First responders rushed them to CRMC for treatment.
 
Officials suspected alcohol to be a factor in this rollover accident on Highway 41. Investigators said there’s evidence the driver of the car had been drinking prior to the crash. In addition, neither of the men injured had been wearing seat-belts. However, an investigation is ongoing.
