OXNARD, CA (June 1, 2022) – Paramedics sent two people to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on May 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Del Norte Boulevard.
 
Based on reports, two vehicles collided in the northbound lane of the highway. CHP Ventura officers responded to the scene and, subsequently, additional reports came in that a third vehicle had crashed into one of the cars in the lanes.
 
As a result, two people were hurt in the chain-reaction crash. Emergency crews transported the victims to the hospital in unknown conditions.
 
Also, crews closed the northbound lanes of the highway for approximately 45 minutes while they cleared lanes of wreckage and debris.
 
As of now, an investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
