INDIO, CA (January 9, 2022) – Paramedics transported two people to the hospital following a hit-and-run on Jefferson Street on January 4.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Miles Avenue at approximately 5:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided in the lanes. Subsequently, both vehicles stopped in the lanes. Then, another car drove by and struck the motorcyclist. The third vehicle then fled the scene.
 
As a result, at least two people were hurt in the incident. The rider suffered critical injuries while another victim had minor injuries.
