Injuries Sustained in Head-On Crash on Placerita Canyon Road near Angeles National Forest in Santa Clarita

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 4, 2022) – Paramedics transported two people to the hospital following a head-on crash on Placerita Canyon Road on August 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Angeles National Forest at approximately 5:53 PM.
 
Based on reports, a Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on Placerita Canyon at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it collided into a Kia Sportage head-on.
 
As a result, the driver and passenger of the Kia Sportage suffered injuries in the incident. Immediately, emergency crews transported them to a nearby hospital’s trauma center for treatment.
 
In addition, both vehicles sustained major damage in the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, other details are not yet clear at this time.
