Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver in Fiery Crash near Ashlan Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (June 28, 2022) — Responders transported two people to the hospital following a crash near Ashlan Avenue and Highway 41 on Friday afternoon in Fresno.
According to the police, the collision happened at about 2:00 p.m. Involved were two vehicles. Follow-up reports indicated that a sedan caught fire. Fortunately, the occupants were already out when the flames engulfed the vehicle.
The other vehicle, which looked like a van, smashed into a tree. Its occupant fled on foot. However, no updates are currently available as to whether the authorities have apprehended the suspect.
