Vehicle Plunges Over 100 Feet in Embankment on Vasquez Canyon Road in Santa Clarita Sending 2 People to Hospital

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (June 1, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized in a car accident on Vasquez Canyon Road in Santa Clarita on Saturday afternoon, May 28.
 
The accident happened around 12:00 p.m. just east of Bouquet Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a vehicle carrying two people had gone over the side of Vasquez Canyon Road and plunged over 100 feet embankment, where it landed on its side.
 
After the crash, the occupants of the vehicle had managed to free themselves from the wreckage. Paramedics transported both patients to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
