Two People Hospitalized in San Diego Wrong-Way Accident on Highway 94
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 9, 2021) — Two people were injured a wrong-way accident on Highway 94 near Federal Boulevard Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 3:20 a.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, a Nissan Altima driver was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the highway. Subsequently, the driver crashed head-on into a Volkswagen Beetle.
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and transported both victims to a hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, detectives arrested the Nissan driver on DUI charges.
