HESPERIA, CA (April 26, 2022) – Two people suffered critical injuries in a head-on accident on Mariposa Road in Hesperia on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:43 p.m. on April 22 where the roadway curves near Eucalyptus Street. Officers said at least two vehicles collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and found two people suffering from serious injuries. Ground ambulances transported both patients to hospitals in critical condition.
 
Crews closed Mariposa Road in both directions during the rescue and clearing operations.
