PHELAN, CA (May 30, 2021) – Emergency crews airlifted two people to the hospital following a rollover accident on 15 Freeway on May 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Highway 138 around 3:21 PM.
 
Based on a report, a black SUV was traveling on the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it lost control near a sharp curve. Subsequently, the vehicle overturned several times, trapping two occupants inside.
 
As a result, both victims sustained unspecified injuries. San Bernardino County firefighters requested two helicopters to land at the scene. Crews extricated both patients before airlifting them to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
