Man Walking in Center Divider of 22 Freeway in Westminster Dies after Struck by Vehicle

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (July 3, 2022) – Trung Tram died in a pedestrian accident on 22 Freeway in Westminster on Saturday, July 2.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:00 p.m. at Brookhurst Street. CHP officials said Tram was walking in the center divider of the freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
Officers responded and found Tram lying in the eastbound lanes of the freeway with significant injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, 38-year-old Tram died at the scene, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
