Tracey Kinney Seriously Injured DUI Crash on Pleasant Valley Road in El Dorado County

 
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (April 27, 2022) – Paramedics sent Tracey Kinney to the hospital following a DUI crash on Pleasant Valley Road on April 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Newtown Road around 1:15 PM. Based on a report, Kinney was driving eastbound on Pleasant Valley at the time of the crash.
 
Her boyfriend, 51-year-old Michael Carrigan of Pollock Pines, was following her. Due to impairment, reports showed Kinney was unable to safely negotiate a curve and lost control of her vehicle. Subsequently, her Fiat crossed into westbound lanes and struck a 2021 Freightliner truck driven by Juan Padron of Santa Rosa. In addition, Carrigan was unable to avoid the collision.
 
As a result, Kinney suffered major injuries in the incident. Paramedics airlifted her to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
 
In the end, police arrested Carrigan on misdemeanor DUI charges.
