Timothy Carr Dies in Car Crash on 60 Freeway near Frederick Street

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (March 9, 2021) — Timothy Carr died in a car accident on the 60 Freeway near Frederick Street Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, 36-year-old Carr was traveling at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, his 2018 Maserati SUV swerved from the eastbound slow lane to the lane adjacent to it. There, his Maserati struck the rear of a semi-truck with an impact that separated the roof from the Maserati.
 
Due to the force, Carr’s vehicle spun off the freeway and veered down an embankment, where it crashed into a tree.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and transported the Moreno Valley man to Riverside University Medical Center. However, despite life-saving efforts, Carr died as a result of his injuries.
