Timothy Briley Killed in DUI E-Bike Accident in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 13, 2022) – Timothy John Briley died in a DUI e-bike crash in Huntington Beach on Tuesday night, August 10.
 
The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway, just north of Admiralty Drive. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a 2018 Toyota RAV4 was traveling north in the southbound lanes of PCH when it struck Briley.
 
As a result of the crash, Briley suffered critical injuries and died at the hospital. He was 40 years old from Huntington Beach.
 
The driver of the vehicle, 70-year-old Barbara Front of Huntington Beach, remained on scene and cooperated with officers. Police later arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
 
HBPD’s Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team is still investigating the fatality. They urged witnesses to contact traffic investigator Jeremy Rounds at 714-536-5670.
