Wrong-Way Driver Causes Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles on 101 Freeway in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 16, 2022) – Three people sustained injuries in a wrong-way accident on 101 Freeway on Monday.
 
The accident happened around 12:00 p.m. on February 14 near Sunset Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, one motorist had been traveling the wrong way along the freeway when it collided with several other vehicles.
 
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and found three injured patients. They took the patients to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol was a factor. Further investigation is underway.
