PASADENA, CA (May 23, 2022) – Three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in the 2600 block of East Washington Boulevard on May 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 1:15 AM.
 
Based on reports, the vehicles collided in the lanes. Subsequently, a fire hydrant was sheared in the crash. In the end, one of the vehicles ended up on top of power pole guidelines.
 
As a result, paramedics transported three people to the hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
 
In addition, emergency crews shut down the flow of water from the sheared hydrant, and utility crews responded to fix any possible damage to the power pole.
 
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation. As of now, police are still investigating the incident. Also, no other details are available.
