INDIO, CA (August 27, 2022) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at Fred Waring Drive and Burr Street in Indio on Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 7:10 a.m. on August 22. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters found three injured patients, two of them suffered major injuries and one had moderate injuries. All of them were transported to a hospital, two by ground transport and one by helicopter.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
