Morning Two-Vehicle Accident at Chestnut and South Avenues Injures 3 People

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2021) – Three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident at Chestnut Avenue and South Avenue Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on October 12, just west of Fowler. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray vehicle was traveling westbound on South Avenue when the driver failed to yield the right of way. It then collided with a white car at the intersection. The gray vehicle then overturned on its side.
 
As a result, one person in the gray vehicle suffered major injuries. Two people in the white car had moderate injuries.
 
Authorities said alcohol was not factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
