Several People Hospitalized After Fresno Crash near Millerton Lake

 
FRESNO, CA (January 2, 2023) — A collision near Millerton Lake left several people injured Thursday morning in Fresno.
 
The December 29th incident involved two vehicles according to the California Highway Patrol and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. A preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford Expedition spun out of control and entered the opposite lane. And then, the said vehicle subsequently collided with an oncoming Chevy truck.
 
Both drivers sustained minor injuries and required treatment. A female passenger of the Ford suffered major injuries after being trapped inside the vehicle. Paramedics took her to Community Regional Medical Center. No further updates were available about the names and conditions of the injured parties.
 
Meanwhile, the investigators said that the wet road and speed played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
