WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (July 8, 2022) – Police reported that three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 on July 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just west of Jefferson Boulevard shortly before 12:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. As of now, the details that led to the collision are not available.
 
As a result, the West Sacramento Fire Department said one person got trapped inside one of the cars. Subsequently, crews used the “jaws of life” to remove the door and get the driver out. In the end, two other people sustained injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported all three victims to the hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, other details are not yet clear at this time.
