Rear-End Accident on Skyline Drive Leaves 3 Children with Serious Injuries

 
SKYLINE, CA (July 5, 2022) – Three children were seriously injured in a rear-end accident on Skyline Drive in the Skyline neighborhood of San Diego on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 6:49 a.m. on July 3, in the 6600 block of Skyline Drive near South Woodman Street. Police said a 70-year-old man was driving a 2001 Honda Accord. He waited at a red traffic signal to make a left onto northbound South Woodman Street.
 
At the same time, a 25-year-old man driving a 2019 Ford F250 pickup truck, with three unrestrained children inside. He was traveling east on Skyline Drive when he rear-ended the Honda.
 
As a result of the crash, all three children suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The San Diego Police Department is still investigating the cause of the crash.
