Teenager Sustains Injuries after Polaris Overturns on Jenny Street in Oak Hills

 
OAK HILLS, CA (November 27, 2022) – A teenage girl was airlifted after an off-road rollover accident on Jenny Street in Oak Hills on Thanksgiving Day.
 
The accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. on November 24, between Mariposa Road and Fremontia Road. According to reports, a Polaris was traveling west on Jenny Street when it overturned at the bottom of the hill.
 
The teenage female passenger sustained injuries from the crash, but was alert and responding to commands of medical personnel.
 
Deputies with Hesperia Police Department shut down Mariposa Road for a REACH helicopter to land, where the injured girl was further transported to a trauma center.
 
Meanwhile, the adult male driver was not injured.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
