16-Year-Old Passenger Suffers Severe Injuries after Car Accident on Noyes Road in Arroyo Grande

 
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (March 21, 2022) – A teen was severely injured in a car accident on Noyes Road in the Arroyo Grande area on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. on March 15, just west of Sunray Place. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 16-year-old teen from Oceano was passenger in a vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old, also from Oceano.
 
For unknown reasons, their vehicle went off the westbound lanes of Noyes Road before going up a dirt embankment. It then collided with a wood and metal road signs and a tree.
 
When officers arrived, they found the teen passenger unconscious and unresponsive inside the vehicle. Paramedics trasported the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the teen driver was unhurt.
 
The CHP said it does not appear drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
