Teen Dies in Fallbrook Car Crash on Mission Road

 
FALLBROOK, CA (December 28, 2021) — A teen died in a car accident on Mission Road near Stage Coach Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2:45 a.m. crash occurred near Fallbrook Union High School. For unknown reasons, a 19-year-old man driving a Subaru BRZ on Mission Road veered from the left lane, off the road, and crashed into several trees.
 
As a result, the debris from the crash struck a Subaru Outback, driven by an 18-year-old from Vista.
 
Following the accident, officials responded and pronounced the 19-year-old man dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officers arrested the 18-year-old on suspicion of reckless driving.
