Tatiana Smith Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 198 [Tulare County, CA]

Tatiana Smith Uninjured in Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Highway 198 near Eaton Road

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (August 9, 2022) — Tatiana Smith was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 198 near Eaton Road on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 8:20 p.m. Upon responding, officers with the CHP found a 27-year-old Harley-Davidson rider with severe injuries.
 
Paramedics brought the victim to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he died despite having received life-saving efforts. Authorities have yet to release the victim’s name.
 
At this time, officials believe 20-year-old Smith tried to slow down her 2008 Jeep in an attempt to make a southbound turn onto Eaton Drive from westbound Highway 198. During her attempt, the westbound Harley-Davidson rider began to pass traffic by using the eastbound lanes. However, this maneuver, deemed unsafe, led to the crash.
 
Smith evaded injury in the accident and stayed at the scene.
