Tarie Barton, Thomas Rodriguez Die in Head-On Crash on La Grange Road near Old La Grange Road

 
LA GRANGE, CA (February 1, 2022) — Tarie Barton and Thomas M. Rodriguez died in a head-on accident on La Grange Road near Old La Grange Road, early Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash occurred around midnight. For unknown reasons, 41-year-old Barton careered from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes. Subsequently, her northbound Kia crashed into a southbound Acura RDX, causing minor injuries to the Acura’s three occupants.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel reached the scene and pronounced Barton and 50-year-old passenger Rodriguez of Merced deceased at the scene.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident. However, anyone with additional insight should reach the CHP officers.
