Coroner Identifies Woman Killed in South LA Two-Vehicle Crash

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 19, 2021) – A woman who died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in South Los Angeles has been identified.
 
She was 37-year-old Tamysha Smith, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene in the 8800 block of South Central Avenue at 9:01 a.m. on April 18.
 
When they arrived, Smith already died at the scene. It is unknown if she was a driver or a passenger in one of the vehicles.
 
A 60-year-old man suffered critical injuries and a woman approximately 30 years old sustained minor injuries. Paramedics took them to a hospital for treatment.
 
The circumstances of this fatal accident remain under investigation.
